GAME 1: North Central’s Balanced Attack Overpowers Park Tudor, 74–64
This was our first time watching both North Central and Park Tudor, and North Central wasted no time making an impression. The Panthers opened the game on a blazing 9–2 run and later used a 13–2 burst to start the second quarter, taking control and never giving it back. What stood out most was North Central’s balanced scoring. Four players reached double digits:
Gabriel Grosfeld – 19 points (8–9 FG, 3–3 3PT), 3 rebounds, 3 assists
Caleb Rhodes – 18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals
Caden Rhodes – 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists
Bryce Harris – 11 points
Grosfeld’s efficiency was elite, and Caleb Rhodes impressed with his timing in the passing lanes, generating multiple steals. North Central moves on to face Jeffersonville tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.
Park Tudor Shows Fight Against 4A Opponent
Despite facing a larger 4A school, Park Tudor proved they’ll be a tough out in Class 2A. After falling behind 14–6, they responded with an 11–2 run to settle in. Every time North Central threatened to pull away, Park Tudor answered — including a 6–0 run in the third quarter and a 9–2 push in the fourth to cut the deficit to 69–64.
Top performers:
Keylan Smith – 20 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 big blocks
Miles Wiley – 13 points, 2 assists
Carlos Lopez - 8 points, 3 assists

GAME 2: Pike’s Pressure Defense Smothers Lake Central, 69–37
Pike entered the invitational as one of the top contenders in 4A, and after a slow first quarter, they showed exactly why. Lake Central’s early strategy — slowing the pace and forcing Pike into one shot — worked briefly, holding Pike to 12 first‑quarter points and 0–4 from deep.
But once Pike sped up the game, everything changed. They erupted for 21 points in the second quarter and forced six turnovers in that frame alone. Pike’s pressure was relentless all game, finishing with 16 steals and forcing 20 Lake Central turnovers.
Pike’s leaders:
Kenneth Lampley – 14 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists
Landon Lampley – 11 points, 2 blocks
Jahari Miller – 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals
Pike takes on Park Tudor tomorrow at 10 a.m.
Lake Central Shows Early Discipline but Can’t Keep Pace
Lake Central executed its game plan well early, but once Pike dictated the tempo, the turnovers piled up.

Noah Enyeart – 13 points, 7 rebounds
Jakob Billmeyer – 6 points,
Evan Galler – 6 points, 7 rebounds, 4 a
Lake Central faces Carmel tomorrow at 11:45 a.m.
GAME 3: Carmel’s Defense Dominates Jeffersonville in 55–43 Victory
Carmel made their presence felt immediately, opening the game with a 10–0 run that forced Jeffersonville into two early timeouts. Defense was the story of the night — Carmel’s hedges, rotations, and lane pressure made every Jeffersonville possession a grind.
Their defensive dominance peaked in the third quarter, where they held Jeffersonville to just five points. Carmel forced 23 turnovers and paired that with crisp ball movement, totaling 14 assists. Six additional Greyhounds scored, showcasing their depth.
Scoring leaders:
Evan Harrell – 15 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals
Ben Bremer – 12 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists
Carmel takes on Lake Central tomorrow at 11:45 a.m.
Jeffersonville Battles Early but Fades Late
After falling behind 10–0, Jeffersonville responded with heart. Cash Whitehead sparked an 8–0 run, and the Red Devils closed the first quarter tied 16–16. Their switch to a zone defense in the second quarter disrupted Carmel’s rhythm, holding the Greyhounds to 3–9 inside the arc and 1–6 from deep.
But the second half told a different story — Jeffersonville scored just 16 points after halftime.
Top scorers:
Cash Whitehead – 8 points
Jacob Wilkerson – 7 points, 4 rebounds
