Team Volleyball Victory: Strong Performance and Sectional Tournament Goals

We had a post game chat with Columbus North Leo Iorio (‘26). On 11 sets he has 30K, 16Ace, 14D and 3Ast.

Leo talks about the teams great team where we worked well together and executed the strategies we’ve been practicing. The coach emphasized the importance of being scrappy and getting all the balls off the blocks and tips. Looking ahead this season, Leo is excited about the sectional tournament and feel confident about making a run. We’re particularly looking forward to a rematch against Franklin Community, who beat us in last year’s sectional final. Leo wants to give a shout-out to his right side player, Anyu Gong, who had an excellent game.
